Shaping Circular Service Ecosystems

چکیده
The circular economy (CE) presents an alternative perspective to the linear take-make-use-dispose model prevalent in industrial value chains. CE envisions economies operating like natural ecosystems—restorative and waste-free, underpinned by principles such as reuse, repair, share, pay-for-use. Surprisingly, although these align with fundamentals of service management, there is limited scholarly exploration within research. Leveraging service-dominant logic, this study introduces concept ecosystems ideal types ecosystems, regenerative, embedded nature, where (material, intellectual, digital financial) resources flow seamlessly between nested systems without creating any waste or leakage. By analyzing 3,178 blogs penned experts over 7 years conducting in-depth interviews industry specialists, offers two significant contributions. Firstly, it a process framework elucidating transition towards ecosystems. This explains emergence novel solutions ecosystem properties through processes de- re-institutionalization. Secondly, identifies six shaping strategies that actors can apply drive transitions. concludes emphasizing importance promising areas for future research, providing comprehensive research agenda explore depth.

Shaping Information Architectures for Service
Access to information has been relatively easy in the analogue environment . However, it is much more difficult in the digital domain. Three of the main drivers are the volume of information which is now digitally available, the mass of knowledge locked within the analogue repositories and the absence of a client-understood construct for information access and delivery. To unlock this situation...

متن کاملDescribing Services for Service Ecosystems
Service ecosystems are electronic market places and emerge as a result of the shift toward service economies. The aim of service ecosystems is to trade services over the internet. There are still obstacles that impede this new form of market places. Two of these challenges are addressed in this paper: (1) identification of appropriate service properties to specify service descriptions, and (2) ...
متن کاملDomesticated nature: shaping landscapes and ecosystems for human welfare.
Like all species, humans have exercised their impulse to perpetuate and propagate themselves. In doing so, we have domesticated landscapes and ecosystems in ways that enhance our food supplies, reduce exposure to predators and natural dangers, and promote commerce. On average, the net benefits to humankind of domesticated nature have been positive. We have, of course, made mistakes, causing unf...
